I drove by place that we used to call home
and my heart skipped a beat turning onto the road
I thought about knocking but who would open the door?
Did they find that broken promise that we carved in the floor?
I've seen some of your pictures, seems like you're doing fine
I'm keeping my distance but I'm frozen in time
So let go of me, let go of me, you're not mine but I'm still yours
Let go of me, you're controlling me, I can't go on like this no more
Yeah I sound so lame but you've got me chained and I refuse to let you know
So I wish you'd let go
Yeah I'd call but I'm scared that you'll pick up the phone
And I'm trying my hardest to leave you alone
I thought about texting - would you leave it on read?
I don't want to annoy you, I'll say nothing instead
I feel like your puppet, you're pulling my strings
I just want to ask you for one final thing
So let go of me, let go of me, you're not mine but I'm still yours
Let go of me, you're controlling me, I can't go on like this no more
Yeah I sound so lame but you've got me chained and I refuse to let you know
So I wish you'd let go
I don't want to be the one to let go first
Don't want to be the one, don't want to be the one
This is a special band. Got to see these guys in concert and got to meet one of them casually at a small bar, and they are a talented, class act through-and-through. This is a joyous record with anthemic songs for those days when you need a lift. Timpy
Just had to get this on vinyl although I've been listening to this album for a couple of years already.... now it can take it rightful place beside " Endless Summer!"🧔 Knut -Thomas

After I discovered GUNSHIP with UNICORN, I went through all their material in a rush. They're whole discography is great, and I think this is the greatest. This album haunts me. I can't listen to it once. Even if I turn it off, I still hear it echoing in the back of my mind. GUNSHIP has a mastery of the bridge that reaches the level of mastery in this album that's just unrivaled. If you get only one album from GUNSHIP, get this one. Mailanka
